The NFlight Ascent is the first aviation headset designed from the ground up to excel both in the cockpit and in everyday life — without compromise. Built by pilots and tested in real aircraft, the Ascent delivers premium active noise canceling, clear communications, and seamless Bluetooth integration in a headset that’s comfortable on long days and long flights.

Aircraft-Tuned Active Noise Canceling
The Ascent uses active noise canceling tuned specifically for aircraft environments. For best performance, the headset is designed to create a strong seal around your ears, especially important in high-noise aircraft.
Interchangeable Headbands
No single clamping force works well in every cockpit. That’s why the Ascent uses interchangeable headbands: choose a higher-clamping force option for high-noise helicopters and piston aircraft, or a lower-clamping force option for jets and quieter turboprops. (Headset is sold with your selected headband; alternate headbands are available separately.)
True Dual Audio System
Bluetooth audio and aviation audio are completely isolated. This provides maximum reliability and redundancy, plus independent control of Bluetooth vs. aircraft audio — without electrically combining the two systems.
Bluetooth During Flight—Your Control
Stream music, podcasts, and audio callouts from EFB/checklist apps, and place phone calls while flying. We prefer a pilot-controlled pause system so you decide when Bluetooth audio plays or stops.

FAQ
Can I use the Ascent like normal wireless headphones?
Yes. Remove the aviation microphone, and the Ascent functions as a wireless noise-canceling headset for music, calls, and everyday use.
What happens if the battery dies in flight?
With the microphone attached, the aviation audio circuit continues to function. Active noise canceling and Bluetooth features will be disabled until the battery is recharged.
Does Bluetooth auto-pause when ATC speaks?
No. The Ascent uses pilot-controlled pause so you decide when Bluetooth audio plays or stops.
