This 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter is custom built by us to fit the Sony 1000XM2, 1000XM3,1000XM4 ,and 1000XM5 headphones. To our knowledge, it is the only adapter that works with Sony headphones.

I was hoping to find a more compact connector to hook up to my Sony headset, but aside from the fact it has a cable that has to be wrapped around the mic adapter, it works as expected. I tried multiple adapters from Amazon and NONE of them worked right. I’d only get audio on one side. Now audio is perfect on L/R. I’m hoping the R&D team can get an adapter made that is a simple 3.5mm male w/ 2.5mm female with the right combo of balanced/unbalanced to work right with the Sony headsets. Thanks NFlight!
