This sturdy case is designed to hold one NFlightMic along with one set of most standard headphones.
Note: The NFlightMic does fit inside the original Bose QC35 headphones case, if you coil it inside the case first and then place the headphones on top of the microphone. This is not true for other headphones.
Case Dimensions: 17cm x 23cm x 6cm
Excellent product and an excellent value.
I’m ecstatic about the NFlightMic. I’m a first officer in the Embraer 145, and I needed something better than the company headsets that the airline provides. But I also didn’t want to carry a separate headset for commuting to listen to music and take calls. The NFlightMic, hooked up to the Bose QC35s was the perfect solution. The Bose headset is more than a match for the ambient noise in the cockpit and the in-flight mic links perfectly to the headset. I was worried that the Velcro on the outside of the headset would drive me mad, but I barely notice it’s there, and it provides a secure link for the mic to be mounted onto the headset. Combined with the external Bluetooth module, it makes a light, unobtrusive, wonderful aviation headset. And the whole package cost me about $200-$400 less than a Bose, Clarity Aloft, or Lightspeed aviation headset. My only complaint, and it’s a trivial one, is that I wish the Bluetooth module came with a switch instead of a pro logic button and that the battery life lasted about three hours longer for five-leg days; The button on the Bluetooth module can get easily turned on when packed into a flight bag and pressed against other material. But, all in all, a superior product. I’m thrilled about it.
Fits my Bose headset nicely and I don’t have the cords all over by flight bag. I’m just hoping that the constant bending of the mic doesn’t cause any damage over time.
Works well, so far...
I’ve been using a Telex Airman 850 for many years, but have begun flying long-haul international flights. After about 3 hours, the Telex hurts my ears, so I decided to try Bose QC25 headphones. I’ve read a lot of reviews on different mic options, & decided to try the NFlightMic. So far, it has worked perfectly. Only used it for a couple of flights, tho...
