This product utilizes the same design and parts that make up the NFlight Nomad Pro, but we attach the David Clark M7A TSO-approved aviation microphone to our boom to meet the demands of professional pilots who must fly with a TSO-approved microphone at work.
Please note: TSO approval only applies to the David Clark M7A aviation microphone.
How it works: The NFlight Nomad is an aviation microphone that can be attached to any headset using the included 3M Dual Lock.
The NFlight Nomad has a 2.5mm audio output that can be plugged into the headset's auxiliary audio input.
The NFlight Nomad Pro accepts 3.5mm audio inputs, allowing you to listen to music while you fly. It also has a mono/stereo selector switch, making it compatible with both mono and stereo aircraft intercoms.
The NFlight Nomad plugs into standard PJ or twin-plug jacks on any fixed-wing aircraft.

I’ve put about 50 hrs so far on the mice with a QC45 and so far it has worked flawlessly. I was also surprised to find that the audio input still comes through even if my headphones’ batteries die if I forget to charge them. I definitely recommend this mic
While the microphone and the headset were two different manufacturers I would never have known using it, it felt seamless. The sound quality from the microphone was excellent and the boom mic was easy to place and stayed where I put it once I found a good position for it.
Best of the best
I have used the mic for about a month now and couldn’t be happier. It’s perfectly clear, fits my headset very well and is backed by a great warranty. I had an older version of the mic and accidentally broke it. Obtaining a replacement was fast and painless, the company is great to work with of the need arises. I have encouraged others to buy this mic and am happy to know I’ll never fly without it.
Amazing. Absolutely love the new head set. Crystal clear communications.
Near perfect. I’ve used a competitor mic for years but wanted to try Nflight on Bose’s newest headphones. Both work great together. Only one small noticeable difference is the intercom feedback of my voice through the mic to the headset causes a slight distortion or echo. I never had that with the other brand. My flying partner and ATC have all reported loud and clear communication, so I’m not worried about the performance of the microphone.
